For speakers and oral abstract presenters
Speakers and oral abstract presenters are required to prepare a PowerPoint presentation according to the instructions provided in the guideline documents below. Upon arrival at the congress venue, you will need to collect your badge at the registration desk and to upload your presentation slides at the Speaker Preview Room.
(Except LLL Speakers who will need to plug in their laptops directly inside the session rooms to share their slides.)
All presentations (except for LLL sessions) will be streamed on the ESPEN Congress Virtual Platform and Mobile App. The broadcast will contain the slides, voice, and video of the speaker.
The full session will be recorded and made available to registered attendees on the same platform until 31 December 2026.
The Speaker Disclaimer below will be presented to you for signature when you upload your presentation in the Speaker Preview Room.
Please do not send this form to us by email.
For ePoster presentations and ePoster display presenters
This year, ESPEN has chosen to go fully digital, meaning no poster boards will be provided for printed paper posters.
In addition to having your ePoster on one of the stations at the congress in Berlin, your ePoster will be available on the ESPEN Congress Virtual Platform and Mobile App via a portal.
ePoster presenters are required to prepare an electronic poster according to the instructions provided in the guideline documents below. The presenting author will receive a notification in mid-July, including the necessary guidelines and instructions to upload their ePoster.
For session moderators and ePoster presentation moderators
Please locate your session location in due time and be there at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the session.
It is the moderator’s responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the session. Please carefully read the instructions and guidelines below:

Abstract embargo
- Accepted abstracts are under embargo from abstract acceptance until 5 September 2026, 00:01 CEST
- Accepted abstracts are published in a special supplement of Clinical Nutrition. In addition, they are made available on the ESPEN Congress website and the official ESPEN Mobile App approximately one month prior to the congress for information and planning purposes of delegates.
- Information contained in abstracts may not be released until the abstract appears online.
- Academic institutions, private organisations and companies, whose value may be influenced by information contained in an abstract, may issue a press release to coincide with the availability of an abstract on the ESPEN Congress Website. Any earlier reporting will be considered a violation of the embargo. Any press release needs to mention the presentation of the abstract at the ESPEN Congress.
- Only the exact abstract content may be shared, without interpretation, additional data, or promotion. Any breach may result in withdrawal from the programme.
