Travel Grants

ESPEN awards 30 travel grants to young investigators under age of 35 (one per country) born after 01.01.1991 for outstanding original abstracts. Each grant is 500 EUR and is awarded based on overall quality and relevance.

Awardees must present their abstract in person in order to receive the grant. The grant will be available for collection at the Speakers’ Desk during the congress, starting from Monday, 7 September 2026, at 12:00 (noon).

Please note that no travel grant will be distributed before or after the congress.

Applications must be submitted as part of the abstract submission process. The application deadline is Wednesday, 8 April 2026, 23:59 CEST.
